It should be emphasized that it does not use Linux. Many competitors use Linux – we see this as a big advantage. It fits so wonderfully into an environment with Windows systems, which our customers usually operate. This also allows a simpler integration into existing systems (ERP, CRM, etc.)

ADVANTAGES OF THE 3CX SOLUTION OVER HARDWARE-ONLY SOLUTIONS
3CX is a pure software solution. This offers you a number of advantages over proprietary hardware appliances.

It is easier to manage, scales better. Install it on an existing server and virtualize it. This saves money and can give you very high reliability and availability. Make it highly available under Hyper-V or VMWare at very little cost.

3CX can also be backed up very easily, directly from the application. Restoring in case of disaster is very easy – even on another PC. Try this with a hardware appliance.

3CX can be developed faster because it uses standards in Windows programming.

It scales very well – you don’t need to buy a completely new system with new hardware on a particular day. A new license key – done. The solution starts at 395 EUR for 4 simultaneous calls. In Germany this corresponds to a system connection with 2 NTBAs or 4 lines. The number of extensions is always unlimited, so you can let significantly more employees use it for calls. We would be happy to advise you on the correct dimensioning.

Especially if you have many international calls, you can save money by connecting SIP providers. Or why not use a GSM gateway – this way the cell phone calls go directly through a cheap cell phone contract.

You can also save money by connecting Skype – it’s free to call and Skype Connect lets you reach other Skype users for free.

Productivity is increased through easy integration with existing Windows solutions.

3CX IS EASY TO INSTALL AND MANAGE
Due to the choice of Windows and the software solution, the whole installation is very well supervised by an administrator. Some of our customers do the same – the basic installation is left to us (there are a few things to consider here in Germany due to ISDN) – but the ongoing operation and adding new phones is often done by the customer himself. But of course we are also happy to take over this as an IT service which we are happy to provide.

For the administrators it is just another Windows application. And not a “telephone system” that only the manufacturer himself dares to install. Just start the management console and have a look.

Monitoring is just as easy to do – as you manage other Windows systems.

UNIFIED COMMUNICATION – COMPUTER INTEGRATION
Using the software, you can easily see which of your colleagues is currently logged in and sitting at their workstation (or is accessible via iPhone). This is very practical in companies, saving you having to make calls by ringing and waiting for someone to answer – who is not sitting at his desk anyway. Putting through (“Is colleague X at work? I’ll put you through…”) is also much faster.

Use the conversion of the answering machine into an email. The recordings of your caller will be sent to you as a recording by email. Very practical, because it is also possible to listen to it on your iphone while on the road. Or you can forward it to the completion… there are many possibilities.

You can also configure the fax to arrive by email. E.g. to the info folder, where also general emails arrive.

A link to Outlook is included. Call contacts with one click. Incoming calls are automatically recorded in the Outlook Journal. Or open the customer directly in your CRM.
